The Signing

1 Aug

As many of you know, my very first book signing was held back in my hometown last Friday.  The experience was nothing short of brilliant.  I was—and continue to be—humbled by the outpouring of steadfast support and bolstering words of congratulations from my closest friends, family members, former classmates and teachers, members of my childhood church’s congregation, fellow authors and new acquaintances.

I was so eager for the event to begin that I forgot to turn off my car! Needless to say, the Sentra was not impressed to be left running on a steep incline for 3.5 hours (especially considering the nine-hour drive she had just endured).

All-in-all, the weekend was a remarkable success that has left me looking forward to the next book signing scheduled for the Brick Factory here in Nashville on September 6th.
